The Mechanical Engineer Intern will support the Mechanical Engineering team who are developing for a new therapeutic product.
This is a 35-40 hour a week internship for a project that will continue through March 2026. Ideal opportunity for a mechanical engineering student graduating this Spring semester.
- Assemble catheters for initial R&D and design verification prototypes.
- Create simple fixtures using SolidWorks or other CAD tools.
- Run development and verification test protocols.
- Complete observation, document data, and create reports.
- Assist C2 Mechanical Engineers in other test and documentation activities.
- Providing support on various R&D projects as assigned.
- Mechanical Engineer major with a targeting graduation of May 2026.
- Experience working with mechanical engineering projects.
- Exposure to project experience in SolidWorks, and running lab experiments using common Mechanical Engineering measurement tools.
- Experience in an office environment
- High energy
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to travel as necessary
- Experience with handling very sensitive and confidential information
