The MOHS Tissue Processing Technician will perform various tasks regarding receiving, processing and preparing patient tissue specimens for microscopic examination and analysis. Must be able to work independently and efficiently. Must also be able to work collaboratively when needed with members of the clinical and pathology teams.
Must be a Registered Histology Technician (ASCP) or be eligible for this designation. Must also have 3 years of relevant experience working in a histology lab.
This is a laboratory setting therefore, there is risk of exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, blood borne pathogens, and sharps instruments
