General Definition: Provide support for the Ring the Bell program at Remington Park and assist in procuring donations and managing associated paperwork.
Essential Job Functions:
Approaching various horsemen and jockeys after each race in order to educate them on the Ring the Bell program with the intent to procure donations.
Creating positive relationships with the various horsemen and jockeys.
Guide donors to the Bell after the races and coordinate with the track photographer for publicity opportunities.
Assist in filling out associated paperwork and ensure all information is accurate.
Delivering all paperwork to the Horsemen�s Bookkeeper after each race.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently.
Knowledge of, or the ability to learn horse safety.
Knowledge of, or the ability to learn the various horsemen and jockeys of Remington Park.
