General Definition: Provide support for the Ring the Bell program at Remington Park and assist in procuring donations and managing associated paperwork.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Approaching various horsemen and jockeys after each race in order to educate them on the Ring the Bell program with the intent to procure donations.
  • Creating positive relationships with the various horsemen and jockeys.
  • Guide donors to the Bell after the races and coordinate with the track photographer for publicity opportunities.
  • Assist in filling out associated paperwork and ensure all information is accurate.
  • Delivering all paperwork to the Horsemen�s Bookkeeper after each race.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


Education:


  • High School Diploma or GED required.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of, or the ability to learn horse safety.
  • Knowledge of, or the ability to learn the various horsemen and jockeys of Remington Park.
