Summary

BGT Interior Solutions is seeking a dedicated and reliable team member who will be responsible for performing accounting and clerical functions. These duties will include processing and reconciling accounting documents, coding financial information in QuickBooks, reviewing information for accuracy, managing deadlines, organizing files, and other tasks as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities* Processes documents such as invoices, and purchase orders.
  • Establishes and maintains accurate vendor information in the accounting system.
  • Verifies items billed against items ordered and received and reconciles differences through follow-up with the vendor and/or other employees.
  • Organizes and maintains a proper filing system.
  • Reviews new procedures, manuals, and system enhancements and suggests revisions.
  • Supports overall accounting team with filing, data entry, answering phone etc.
  • Other projects as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* Advanced-level Quickbooks and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) skills
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to focus on tedious tasks, such as data input, under stressful conditions


Experience

3+ years of accounting-related role(s) preferred

Education

High school diploma and 3+ years of experience in an accounting position

  • or -

Associates Degree and 1+ years of experience in an accounting position

Salary: $55,000-60,000 annually, plus benefits
