After-School Sports Instructor (Basketball)

Ben Bellucci Academy is seeking a high-energy, youth-oriented Basketball Instructor to run engaging after-school basketball sessions for elementary students in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about sports, enjoys working with kids, and thrives in a fun and supportive environment.

• Lead age-appropriate basketball drills focused on developing fundamental skills
  
• Teach essential techniques like dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and teamwork
  
• Facilitate small group games that encourage team play and skill application
  
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive atmosphere for all participants
  
• Prepare weekly lesson plans tailored to age and experience levels
  
• Provide feedback, support behavioral expectations, and address safety concerns
  
• Set up and clean up equipment before and after each session
  

• Experience working with children, especially in sports settings
  
• Solid understanding of basketball fundamentals
  
• Ability to communicate clearly and keep kids engaged
  
• Team player with strong leadership skills
  
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
  
• Background check required
  

• Part-time after-school hours (generally 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM), 1-3 days per week based on your availability
  
• Paid 1.5 hours per session (includes setup and cleanup time)
  
• Example: $25/hr x 1.5 hours = $37.50/session
  
• Must arrive 20 minutes before the session begins
  

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and school placement
