Ben Bellucci Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Youth Cheer Instructor to lead after-school cheerleading sessions for elementary students in Bowie, MD. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with children, has cheer experience, and can create a fun, safe, and motivating environment.
- Lead engaging cheer routines, drills, and age-appropriate activities
- Teach basic motions, jumps, stunts (as appropriate), chants, and choreography
- Foster team spirit through performances and group activities
- Ensure a positive and safe experience for all students
- Plan weekly lessons based on the group�s age and skill level
- Encourage teamwork, confidence, and energy
- Maintain communication with students, school staff, and parents
- Provide constructive feedback and support
- Set up and clean up materials as needed
- Adhere to all safety and supervision guidelines
- Experience with children, especially in cheer, dance, or sports
- Strong cheer knowledge and teaching ability
- Positive, energetic, and patient personality
- Capable of working with students at all levels
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass a background check
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
