6 Month ContractHourly rate: $66.00We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Project Forecast Administrator / Financial Analyst to manage and support the financial performance of multiple technical projects. You will work closely with technical product managers (TPMs) and project managers (PMs) to develop budgets, maintain forecasts, support governance, and ensure adherence to project management best practices. This is a vital role in maintaining financial transparency and supporting strategic decision-making within the PMO.
Responsibilities


  • Financial Management: Maintain project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance tracking.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with TPMs and PMs to develop and refine budgets and forecasts. Monitor project financial performance and document variances.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare regular reports for leadership, highlighting key financial metrics, trends, and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to TPMs and PMs by communicating financial data clearly and supporting informed financial planning.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations, enhance accuracy, and increase efficiency using modern tools.
  • Project Governance: Support governance processes and compliance with project management frameworks and methodologies. Develop templates and ensure alignment with PMO standards.
  • Resource Management: Assist PMs with capacity planning and resource utilization to optimize delivery outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality audits and compliance reviews on financial and project documentation. Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned sessions.
  • PMO Support: Maintain tools, templates, and documentation repositories for the PMO.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure all financial and project documentation adheres to organizational and regulatory standards. Support audit readiness and compliance reporting.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor�s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA)
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and project financial management
  • Strong proficiency in financial software tools and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)


Desirable Experience
  • Experience working in or supporting a Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Exposure to enterprise financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday)
  • Understanding of IT project lifecycles and technical stakeholder needs
